Heavy Rains hit Rajapet village after 2 decades – ponds are full of water (Gopala cheruvu and Kotha cheruvu)

After nearly 2 decades the Rajapet and the nearest villages which resulted all the ponds are full of water (Gopala cheruvu and Kotha cheruvu). Farmers are villagers are happy to see the water resources are filled with rain water and there will be no more water scarcity for next 2-3 years.

Rajapeta Mandal is going to be merged with Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district soon, Nalgonda district will be divided into 3 new districts Nalgonda, Suryapeta and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.

Flash News: Commissioner of Telangana Tourism visited Rajapeta Fort on May 29

Telangana State commissioner of Tourism Dept. Mr. Boora Venkateswarlu visited Samsthan Rajapeta Fort on May 29th 2016 and promised to make this historical heritage monument  to become popular tourist spot in Telangana state. He visited and inquired about history of the fort taken notes from villagers and researchers. This is really great news about Rajapeta Fort developments, sooner this fort going to be attractive tourist place in Telangana state.

Rajapeta Samsthanam – Near Yadaadri Temple and Kolanupaka Jain Temple

rajapetRajapeta Samsthanam Fort is near to Yadagiri Gutta Temple (Yadaadri) with only 20km distance, we can reach the Fort in 20 minutes. This fort is also nearest from Kolanupaka famous Jain Mandir (12 km). This is once of the ancient historical fort built by Raja Rayanna in the year 1775.

This is one of the oldest and famous Samsthan in Telangana State and recently recognized by recognized as one of the historical Monument in Nalgonda district by Department of Archaeology & Museums of Telangana State.

We can see huge wall called Burj surrounded by total village. Other visting places are oldest Temples of Lord Shiva, Sangameshwara alayam, Venkateshwara Matt and Markandeya Temple. Kurraram Basavanna Temple is also just 5km distance from this fort.
